Step 1 of 6
Tell us about your business
A few basics and the plan you're on so we can size your system.
How to fill in this page
Enter your company name exactly as you want it to appear on your phone system and greetings.
Choose your 3CX product and the hosting plan you purchased — the plan sets how many extensions we create for you.
Pick your preferred install date — it must be a future date. We'll confirm the exact time with you.
Add the main contact we should deal with during setup, including their position, email and phone.
All fields marked * are required before you can continue.
Step 2 of 6
Sites & business hours
Add each location — office hours are set per site. Normally the department is your business name; if you have multiple sites, use the suburb name for each one.
How to fill in this page
Enter a site name for each location. This becomes the department name used later on, so keep it recognisable — normally your business name, or if you have more than one site, the suburb each office is in (e.g. "Richmond", "Geelong").
Choose the location. Pick "Other" if it isn't listed and type the location name.
Set the opening hours for each day. Untick any day you're closed.
Use + Add a site if you have more than one office or department.
Hours are set per site, so each location can open and close at different times. All fields marked * are required before you can continue.
Step 3 of 6
People & extensions
These are prepopulated to match your hosting plan — edit each person, set their department, and add or remove as needed. Every user needs a name and their own unique email address.
How to fill in this page
We've created your users automatically to match your hosting plan — each one gets an extension number.
Add each person's name (required) and email address. The email is used to send them their welcome and login details, so each user must have their own unique email — the same address can't be used twice.
Check the department is right — this controls which site's call flow they belong to.
Choose their phone model. Use + Add another phone if someone needs a desk phone and a headset.
Turn voicemail on or off, delete anyone you don't need with ×, or use + Add another user.
Extension numbers are assigned in blocks per department, but you can type over any of them. All fields marked * are required before you can continue.
Please give every user a name and a valid, unique email address.
Step 4 of 6
Build your call flow
Pick how calls are handled — the diagram builds itself as you configure it. Set it up for business hours, then after hours.
How to fill in this page
Start by choosing one of the three standard call flows at the top. You can click between them to compare the designs.
When you've found the one that suits, click Use this call flow & start editing — we'll build the menus and queues for you.
Work through each section: business hours, after hours and public holidays.
For each menu (Auto Attendant), set what happens when a caller presses a key and what happens if they don't press anything.
For each queue or ring group, add the members in the order they should ring, then set the ring time and where the call goes if nobody answers.
Give every Auto Attendant, call queue and ring group a name — these are required before you can continue.
The diagram on the right updates as you go — use it to check calls end up where you expect. All fields marked * are required before you can continue.
Every Auto Attendant, call queue and ring group needs a name before you can continue.
Step 5 of 6
Greetings & announcements
Your standard scripts are pre-filled with each site's name — review and edit any of them. In Auto Attendant scripts, replace (OPT 1)/(OPT 2) with your menu choices.
How to fill in this page
Every site has a full set of scripts, already written for you with your business name filled in.
Read each one aloud and edit the wording if you'd like it to sound different.
In the Main Auto Attendant script, make sure the menu options match what you set up in step 4.
Use + Add a script if you need an extra recording, or × to remove one you don't need.
Leave a script as-is if you're happy with the standard wording — these are what our voice artist will record.
Step 6 of 6
Review & sign-off
Your call flow and details — this is what our team will build from.
Optional — but anything you add here goes straight to the engineer building your system.
When you submit, your answers and a copy of the Excel workbook are sent to our provisioning team at provisioning@sipconnect.com.au and kept on file so we can build your system. We handle them under our Privacy Policy.
Please add your name and tick the confirmation box to sign off.
